Non-coding RNA와 miRNA는 배아발생, 세포분화, 세포사멸, 에너지 대사등 다양한 생물학적 반응은 물론 이들의 비정상적이 조절은 여러 질병과 밀접한 연관성이 있다. 본 연구실은 유전자 스위치로 작용하는 Non-coding RNA와 miRNA와 관절염과의 연계성을 규명하고, 작용하는 Non-coding RNA와 miRNA를 활용한 유전자 조절을 통해 관절염을 제어할 수 있는 신약개발의 기반을 제공하고자 한다.
